Hey my name is Gabrielle Schmittle I'm 17 years old. I was born in Phoenix Arizona and I moved to La Grande when I was 7 and I have lived here ever since. I attend La Grande high school I’m a junior this year. My parents are Mark and Allison Schmittle. I'm the oldest out of 4 children Leah, Derik, and Jakob. I’m involved with horse 4-H, FFA and Track. I have been riding horses almost all my life.  Last year I was on the Catherine Creek Jr. Rodeo court and it was a blast. I have gone to Eastern Oregon Livestock Show, showing my horse and helping out when needed since I moved to La Grande. I love to go to as many Rodeos as I can and compete in events such as Barrel racing, steer riding, and pole bending. I'm really involved in barrel racing and pole bending I have won many awards and trophies. I have 3 horses the one that I'm using this year is Coby and he is a 10 year old Quarter Horse. I'm really exited about being on the 101st rodeo court. Heidi has been awesome helping us and giving us a great and successful year already I can’t wait to have a fun summer with Kymee and Jessica. After high school I plan to join the National Guard and go to college as a dental assistant. I would like to thank everyone that has helped me especially my family.

Hi Everyone! Welcome to the 101st annual Eastern Oregon Livestock Show Rodeo. My name is Kymee Braseth, I am 18 years old and a senior from Imbler High School. I am the daughter of Craig and Kay Braseth, owners of Mountain West Moving and Storage who also sponsor the Harley Tucker Memorial Series Award. I have been involved in FFA where I compete in career development events such as ag sales, dairy judging, soils judging, and showing market animals. I am also an active FBLA member as an officer where I compete in Parliamentary Procedures and Public Speaking 2.  This year I will be riding a 15 year old quarter horse gelding named Badger.  This fall I am planning on attending Oregon State in Corvallis, where I will major in dental hygiene. I would like to say thank you to my parents and family who have given me so much support throughout this whole experience.  I hope you all enjoy the 101st Eastern Oregon Livestock Show!

Welcome to the 101st Eastern Oregon Livestock Show!  My name is Jessica Hafer.  I am a junior at La Grande High School and have lived in La Grande all of my life.  I’ve been riding horse since I was a little girl and I got first very own horse when I was 8 years old.  I have shown horses in 4-H at the Eastern Oregon Livestock Show since the 4th grade and have always volunteered to help at the show.  I was on the Catherine Creek JR Rodeo Court in 2007 and enjoyed every moment of it.  That’s when I decided I wanted to carry on the Eastern Oregon Livestock Show tradition for the 101st year.  I want to thank my parents, Lance and Trisha Hafer for always being there for me and helping in any way they can, and my brother Derrick for being my little go-fer.  Also I want to thank my grandparents Willard and Bernice Hafer, and Monty and Kathy Roe; they are always willing to help me and be there to cheer me on.  To all of my friends for the encouragement they’ve given, to everyone who has supported me so far, and to everyone who will throughout the rest of the year, a great big thank you!  I hope you all enjoy the show and together we will make the 101st Eastern Oregon Livestock Show the best show yet!!
