queen Breanna Partney

My name is Breanna Partney. I was born and raised in La Grande, Oregon. I am 17 years old and a senior at La Grande High School. My parents are Mike and Tracy Partney. I am the youngest of three children. I have two older brothers; Brandon who is 21 and Blake who is 19. Oh, and my two dogs – Mac and Jake. Along with my three horses – Nacho, Ellie Mae, and Matti.
My parents started their own businesses MiTrac Construction and Mt. Emily Rock back in 1990 and have kept it going strong ever since. I am proud to be part of a self-employed family and one day hope to own my own business.
As soon as I was able, I joined 4-H. I showed hogs here at EOLS for several years in both 4-H and FFA. We also raise cows and I love calving season the best!
I have been part of varsity volleyball and basketball teams at La Grande High School all four years. Through those years I have been honored with many awards for my hard work. This year, I was named GOL (Greater Oregon League) player of the year for basketball and First Team All-League for volleyball. I am very dedicated to my activities and work extremely hard.
I have enjoyed the opportunity to run sponsor flags and be a part of the drill team for EOLS the last three years. I have made many friends and endured all types of weather during the rodeos and parades and loved every minute of it each year.
I have been riding horses since I was two years old and honestly do not know what I'd do without a horse! I have participated in play days, Jr. Rodeos, parades, trail rides, Elgin’s Bulls and Barrels night, as well as their family nights. I currently own three horses: Matti, who is a sorrel mare that is young but fairly lazy; Ellie Mae, who is my wonderful little chestnut barrel horse and my palomino, Nacho, who I am using for court.
I am running for EOLS Queen because I CAN’T WAIT ANY LONGER! I have always dreamed of being part of the EOLS Court but had sports activities that took up much of my summers. Now being about to graduate, I knew it was the right time. I have always looked up to the past courts and found it a very honorable position to be part of. I am anxious to have a wonderful summer representing the Oldest Show in the Northwest!

princess Sidney Cooney

Hi everyone! I'm Sidney Cooney. I was born in La Grande OR, and raised in Elgin and Joseph. My parents are Chad and Lori Cooney. I have a younger sister, Ally.
I'm 17 years old and a junior at Joseph Charter School. I'm greatly involved in FFA and hold the office as the chapter secretary. I've shown hogs since the fourth grade in both FFA and 4-H. In those years I have shown two of those hogs at Stockshow and my horse once at Stockshow. I ride my AQHA palomino mare, Trixie. I am very thankful and honored to be able to ride her this year in many parades and rodeos as a member of the 2013 EOLS Royalty! Through the school year I play volleyball, basketball, and softball. I am a scholar athlete.
I'm so excited that my opportunity is finally here to be a part of the EOLS royalty. I am so honored and thankful for the chance to represent the "Oldest Show in the Northwest". I want to thank my friends and family for all their love and support, if it weren't for them I wouldn't be where I am today. This will be an unforgettable summer! I hope to see you all in June!
