KIANA DE LINT

Kiana De Lint, a senior at Imbler High School, is the daughter of Mauri and Anita De Lint and ten siblings. Kiana shows beef projects at EOLS and participates in cross country, Track and is a competitive skier, but is excited to dedicate her time to the Eastern Oregon Livestock Show Royalty Court.
Since she can remember seeing horses for the first time, Kiana De Lint has been interested in riding. An early memory includes her parents letting her sit on her first horse, Midge, while they led her around. Eventually, she was confident enough to ride independently and found a passion for horses. Kiana sought and found a horse that was a better fit for her newfound abilities and began riding lessons at Summerville Stables.
After many years of successful riding, her horse Rowdy suddenly passed away and Kiana is now bonding with her new horse, Dot. Dot has carried Kiana to Barrel Club and Rodeo Bible Camp. Kiana is excited to explore new opportunities with her in representing the Eastern Oregon Livestock Show around the Northwest.
Kiana expresses a love for rodeo and having watched the Eastern Oregon Livestock Show for years, a personal connection. When she got to know Miss Rodeo Oregon, this inspired her to try. The experience of visiting with Miss Rodeo Oregon and having her choose Kiana’s lamb to “show” demonstrated the kindness, beauty and professionalism that Rodeo Royalty can express to others and how they can become a significant role model.
Kiana’s goals through participating on the Eastern Oregon Livestock Show Court are to improve her bond with her horse, improve her riding skills, and to meet new people while being a good role model for other young people. She feels she can promote the sport of rodeo through getting out into the community and sharing her story with others. She is excited to learn more about PRCA Rodeo and to encourage others to become involved.

KODI MILLER

Kodi Miller is the oldest daughter of Tyler Miller and Rebecca Thorn and stepdaughter of Kara Miller and Robert Thorn. She has two siblings, Kase and Paisley Miller. Kodi lives in Halfway, Oregon and is a Junior at Pine Eagle High School. The last two years, Kodi has participated on the Baker County Fair and Rodeo Court, serving as the 2023 Senior Princess and the Junior Queen in 2024. She enjoyed the Rodeo Court for many reasons including her love of rodeo, horses and friends made on the road. Participating has given her the opportunity to inspire younger girls to pursue both rodeo and being on a court one day. Kodi has also learned to enjoy public speaking and the exhilaration of being able to put her full trust into her horse as they do run-ins.
In addition to Rodeo Court, Kodi enjoys anything that finds her on horseback. She participates in 4-H, FFA, and Oregon High School Equestrian Team. Speed events in gaming are fun, but Kodi also enjoys the precision of Equitation and Showmanship. Her love of horses has driven her to consider a career as an Equine Surgeon in the future.
Along with participation in equine sports, Kodi is active in her school as a member of the Student Council, serving as FFA Greenhand Treasurer and playing volleyball, basketball, and softball.
Having grown up participating in hometown rodeos and parades, Kodi is excited to represent the Eastern Oregon Livestock Show to be part of the PRCA Rodeo Royalty and to enhance her queening experience and rodeo knowledge. She would like to become a role model for other people as past EOLS Royalty have been to her. Kodi looks forward to working with new people and making friends wherever she goes and will become an asset as an ambassador for the Eastern Oregon Livestock Show 2025.
