Queen Paisley Miller is a 16-year-old sophomore at Union High School. She was born and raised in the Grande Ronde Valley. Paisley and her family live in Union, OR. Her parents are Odin and Shandy Miller, and her sister is Millie Miller. Paisley’s admiration for the EOLS royalty court began at an early age when she would attend every EOLS and meet each year’s court members. She would see them ride into the arena and fly down the track, and she knew then she wanted to experience that when she was older. Now at 16, she realizes that this is a great opportunity to not only be an ambassador for the sport of rodeo and EOLS but also build that same sense of excitement in other young girls’ hearts through being a positive role model for them.
Paisley is one busy young lady! She is a 3-sport varsity athlete participating in Volleyball, Basketball, and Track at Union High School. She received 1st team All-League honors this year in volleyball and made the district all-tournament 1st team. Paisley was also on the 2A state championship basketball team her freshman year in 2021. She is an active member of FFA and touts a 3.92 GPA. Outside of school, she loves to be on the back of a horse helping on her family’s cattle ranch. Paisley, her sister Millie, and her 4 cousins are the 6th generation of Miller Ranch. Since 4th grade, Paisley has shown pigs at EOLS; first in 4H and now FFA. She received overall FFA Champion Market Hog in 2021. Paisley has also been spending time working with and riding her 5-year-old mare, Patsy, short for Patsy Cline! Even though Patsy is young, she is a beautiful, talented horse with a big heart and a kind eye. Paisley is excited to introduce stockshow and its fans to Patsy.
Paisley and her family have a deep history with EOLS. Her great-great grandfather, S.E. Miller, was president of stockshow from 1925-28. Her great grandfather, Odin Miller, served as president from 1964-71. Paisley’s grandfather, Ed Miller, served in several capacities for over 35 years including Vice President, rodeo chairman, and arena director. Currently the Xtreme bulls event each year at EOLS bears his name in memoriam. Her aunt, Cassie Miller-Petersen, is currently serving her first year as the first ever female president of EOLS. Her father, Odin Miller, is entering his 4th year on the EOLS board of directors. Her mother, Shandy Miller, was on the EOLS royalty court in 1996 as well as her grandmother, Cathy Schroeder in 1970. Paisley herself has volunteered at EOLS helping prepare the grounds with her fellow FFA members and most recently as a member of the flag team.
Paisley would like to thank her family, friends, and community for their support as she begins this year’s journey on the EOLS court. She would also like to thank the EOLS board of directors and the court committee for their guidance and support. Paisley feels that representing EOLS is an honor and privilege, and she is excited for her opportunity to be a part of the Oldest Show in the Northwest!

Princess Jadeyn Perin is a 16 year old sophomore attending Enterprise High School. She resides on the outskirts of Enterprise with her parents, Austin and Erica Kasper, and little brother Jace. To enjoy all her extracurricular activities, one must have a support group and Jadeyn is very blessed to have several loving grandparents: Ryan Perin, Diane Duncan, Deena Perin, Lori Kasper and her late Grandpa Kevin Kasper.
The love and passion Jadeyn has for animals started before she could walk by watching her mom carry Sponsor flags for local rodeos, perform on a rodeo drill team and barrel race, and by watching her grandpa, Ryan, compete in Team Roping. Jadeyn started competing at an early age when she attended Union Elementary School and joined 4-H in the fourth grade. That’s when she started showing her horse and market lambs! Jadeyn has many equine and lamb related accomplishments. Now 6 years later, she is still participating in this great youth program and being able to serve as a 2022 4-H Court Ambassador which means the world to her! This gave her the opportunity to serve in the community and give back to all, as well offering community service each and every day to help promote and keep the program running. Jadeyn has been able to compete at both State and National levels in 4-H, including going to Kentucky in November of 2022 representing the State of Oregon 4-H Horse Hippology Team.
Jadeyn is also active in the Enterprise FFA chapter. In the summer of 2022, she had the honor of showing a Black Angus heifer as a breeding project at the Wallowa County Fair. She hopes she will be able to raise her own herd. Jadeyn is currently representing Enterprise High School as an athlete on the Volleyball team, Basketball team, and is a member of FCCLA. Her most enjoyable place to be is on the back of her horse, either competing in the showing ring, junior rodeos, or in the mountains helping family gather and work cows. When Jadeyn is not around her animals you can find her enjoying fishing, camping or anything outdoors.
“I am so excited to have the opportunity to serve as this year's 2023 Eastern Oregon Livestock Show Court Member and honored to have the opportunity to represent an association that celebrates the western way of life in the sport of rodeo.”
Being on rodeo court has been a dream of Jadeyns. She is looking forward to this experience, gaining many new memories, and meeting new people from all over while she represents the great sport of rodeo. Jadeyn and her equine partners are excited and can’t wait to meet you at the Eastern Oregon Livestock show in June, The Oldest Show in the Northwest!
